    M&C Saatchi is a specialist division focused on tackling humanity’s most challenging and important problems, in fragile states and developing countries. We harness the power of cutting-edge communications and creativity to achieve long-term behaviour change. As we continue to grow and innovate, we’re looking for a new cohort of data-focused interns to join our team.

    Our Data Boot Camp is a summer internship programme designed for individuals passionate about the world of data science, data engineering and data analysis. Ideal for students or recent graduates, this programme offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

    What You Will Do: You will work closely with an experienced data scientist, who will act as your mentor, offering guidance, support and regular feedback on your progress.You will participate actively in team meetings and project discussions, lending your fresh perspective and innovative ideas.

    You will receive in-depth training sessions on programming languages (Python, SQL), data analysis, and machine learning algorithms, expanding your technical knowledge and skills.

    You will prepare and present project reports, summarising your findings, methodologies, and results, contributing to the decision-making processes of our company.

    You will create compelling data visualizations, translating complex data into a format that can be easily understood by the team and other stakeholders.

    What we are Looking For: As we value curiosity and collaboration, we are looking for individuals who are naturally fascinated by the world and why it is the way it is, particularly from a data-driven perspective. A belief in the power of data and communications to improve the world is a must.

    When: The 5-week internship programme will take place throughout July/August and will be based at our offices in Soho. Interns will be paid London Living Wage and will be expected to come into the office at least twice per week.

    Option 1

    Propose a data-driven solution to a pressing global issue. Include details on the data you would use, your proposed analysis method, and how your solution could bring about change.

    Option 2

    Explain how we could leverage data analysis to create a compelling campaign influencing a particular issue? You can use an issue such as climate change, social justice, or health disparities for your answer.
