Role purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, analysis, and reporting while contributing to meaningful projects that support the company's strategic objectives.
What you will be doing
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analysing data and preparing variance reports.
- Conduct research and analysis on market trends, financial metrics, and investment opportunities.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Help with accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and process financial data.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by the finance team.

What we are looking for
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
