At Mobile Fun, a leading name in online retail for mobile accessories, we're on the hunt for an ambitious Graduate Web Developer to join our Birmingham team. You'll be starting your role based in our Birmingham office, where you'll be mentored closely by experienced colleagues. Within a few weeks, you'll be moving to a hybrid role, working remotely with frequent supportive online collaboration as you increasingly develop your independence in your role.
The role
You will join us as a Graduate PHP Web Developer, where you'll have the opportunity to work closely with more experienced colleagues on large-scale eCommerce platform projects using popular PHP-based eCommerce frameworks.
Your first project will focus on integrating a new checkout system with a large-scale eCommerce platform, including integrating with payment gateways and other APIs. In this agile development environment, you'll contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of our eCommerce platform, learning effective PHP and JavaScript development skills.
Who we're looking for
- Recent Graduates: A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is your ticket to joining our team.
- Passionate Developers: You might have experience with JavaScript, PHP or Python but your enthusiasm for PHP web development and eagerness to tackle real-world eCommerce challenges will make you a perfect fit.
