    To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services and PR and Communications.

    Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Accounting team.

    What you'll do

    Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

    • Perform double entry journal postings and technical accounting processes (particularly accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions)
    • Take responsibility for month end activities
    • Adherence to Group reporting standards and deadlines
    • Monthly general ledger (GL) reconciliation and investigation of GL’s variances
    • Cooperate with various stakeholders in the business to ensure that accounting figures are aligned with expectation and budget
    • Involvement in the audit process (i.e. reporting audits, statutory audits, Group internal audits)
    • Proactively identify potential issues with systems and processes, help deliver improvements and successfully implement changes
    • Understand the various business systems used within the Company which impact on areas of responsibility
    • Liaise and maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Support ad-hoc projects as and when required

    Who you are

    The type of person we are looking for:

    • University Graduate
    • Studying towards Professional Qualifications i.e. ACA, ACCA
    • Proactive mentality and an ability to think outside of the box
    • Adaptability
    • Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
    • Good Excel skills i.e. Pivot tables, V Lookups etc
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision is advantageous
    • Highly organized with great attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good communication skills
