We are offering an opportunity to work within our Academy Performance Analysis department across the 2024-25 season, starting July 2024.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate with high attention to detail and a passion for football, while offering an insight into future career pathways in a high performance professional sport environment.
This placement is suitable for a student who is looking for an industry placement for the third year of their Sport Science or Sport & Exercise Science BSc.
Norwich City Football Club will make a monthly contribution to living expenses for successful candidates throughout the duration of their placement.
Key tasks/responsibilities
- Lead on U9-14 academy matchdays, filming, live coding and providing instant feedback for coaching staff and players.
- Film & oversee training coverage with the clubs IP feed setup, alongside utilizing additional technology to provide multi-angle review.
- Maintain databases for team and individuals to support academy training and game models.
- Assist on internal data collection process with relevant age groups, supporting our data philosophy.
- Develop fun, engaging projects that support technical & tactical individual development plans.
- Execute additional tasks as required to meet the football club’s changing priorities.
- Take part in a bespoke CPD program in a professional football club.
