About Norwich City Football Club

Norwich City Football Club was founded in June 1902 after a meeting at the Criterion Café in Norwich.

The club played their first games later that year, initially wearing a sky blue and white kit before a change in 1907 to the now familiar canary yellow and green.

The yellow and green kit remains the club’s primary colours to this day while other areas have continued to change or evolve around the club – in terms of infrastructure, organisation and community.

At the stadium, supporter feedback is regularly taken on board as to how the matchday experience can be enhanced by any infrastructural changes such as the recent survey regarding the feasibility and demand for rail seating, as well as the planned redevelopment of the City Stand.

While on-field or physical development is important for any football club, Norwich City prioritise, with the same importance, the development of staff across the entirety of the club.

The growth and success of our people, whether coaches, administrative staff, backroom team or casual staff is integral to the achievements of the club and the offering that is available to those who choose to take part in any aspect of Norwich City.
