Ovarro is a company with real purpose. Our RTUs and SCADA has underpinned critical infrastructure for over 40 years and our leak detection portfolio is helping to drive towards a global sustainable future. We are constantly challenging ourselves to make improvements and this year we are looking to launch a new Graduate Programme.

About the role

To better enable your development, we will look to provide you with 3-month rotations in 4 different Ovarro teams. This should provide you with the opportunity, and support required, to overcome several key challenges that you may not have access to when assigned to only one team. These rotations will give you potential access to Project Delivery, SCADA Support, Product Development, Business Analysis, or QA. These rotations will enable you to develop a wide skillset before looking to further specialise at the end of year 1. Once you finish your first year having had the exposure to most technical challenges you could face, we believe your future career at Ovarro will be a roaring success.

Who you are

The key areas we would need for you to be able to apply for this Graduate Programmer would be that you have graduated from a Programming/Software Engineer/Computer Science degree with a good knowledge of an OO Programming Language. Java and C/C++ would be most useful but we recognise that you can pick them up quickly if you understand the principles. We use Linux so knowledge of this would be great but certainly not essential.

Most importantly though, is who you are as a person. Do you love tech? Do you enjoy being challenged technically? Do you have a passion for learning new technologies? Can you solve problems alone or as part of a team?
If Yes, we’d love to hear from you!

What we provide

A varied first year of employment where you face many technical challenges

What we need from you

A programming degree and good knowledge of an OO language, plus a love for all things tech
