    Have you ever wondered about the role played by science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a modern Investment Bank? What type of work is carried out on a day-to-day basis and what the people are like who work here?

    If so, the Royal Bank of Canada are offering a unique opportunity for students studying STEM subjects to take their crucial first steps in their career journey by joining us for two days to learn about the dynamic, diverse and challenging world of investment banking. You will meet technology experts from sales, trading, investment banking and technology to gain an insight into how STEM skills are utilized across an investment banking environment and how STEM professionals collaborate to meet the needs of the business.

    We are looking to welcome bright minded, conscientious and dedicated first year students to RBC who have an interest in bringing together finance and innovative technology, to learn how the financial markets work and how RBC operates. This will include presentations by market leading experts within technology from different areas of the business, a case study and a tour of the trading floor. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an insight into what a career at RBC can look like, our working environment and culture, and also to build your professional network with our current graduates and senior business professionals at our networking reception.

    The Spring Insight Programme will take place across two days in in late March or early April 2021.
