Imagine contributing to projects that help move millions of people every day?
At Siemens Mobility, we’re developing innovative transport solutions that are transforming the future of rail and making travel more sustainable. Start your career at the heart of that journey!
Are you an ambitious final year undergraduate looking for a unique graduate programme?
Join a two-year graduate journey that combines hands-on experience with structured development. Through technical and professional training, graduate workshops, mentoring and leadership exposure, you’ll build your skills while working on meaningful projects. You’ll collaborate with fellow graduates across the business, present your achievements and deliver a Business Impact Project with real business value, developing the confidence, experience and connections needed to accelerate your career at Siemens Mobility.
Siemens Mobility is a global market leader in rail infrastructure, shaping the future of transportation through cutting‑edge technology, digital innovation, and sustainable engineering. As part of our Rail Infrastructure business, you’ll join a team that is transforming how people and goods move, making rail travel safer, smarter, greener, and more efficient.
Our 2 year Graduate programme provides a varied start to a career in engineering combining off the job training with rotational work placements and the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the Siemens Rail Infrastructure business, as follows:
- Year 1: Three 4-month rotations across key functions in order to construct a ‘toolbox’ of knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an Engineer in Siemens. As a graduate you will experience a number of business functions that support Project Engineering Delivery such as: Safety Assurance, Signalling Application Design, Project Engineering, Bids and Tendering, Construction and Test and EHSS.
- Year 2: Transition into your substantive team to develop deeper expertise and prepare for your role beyond the graduate programme. Note: some business areas may continue rotations in Year 2.
You‘ll make a difference by
- Playing an active role in delivering innovative rail projects that make journeys safer, smarter and more sustainable.
- Working alongside engineering, project and customer teams to turn ideas into practical solutions and see them through from concept to delivery.
- Exploring digital tools and emerging technologies that improve how rail projects are planned, engineered and delivered.
- Using systems engineering to solve real delivery challenges, manage risk and help projects achieve successful outcomes.
