Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30 countries. Our sole focus is on unlocking better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for our clients.
We achieve this by optimizing every lever of their commercial strategy – product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales – based on deep insights into what customers want and value. With 37 years of experience in monetization topics of all kinds, we are regarded as the world’s leading pricing and growth specialist.
We are now looking for Internship candidates who are interested in learning more about a career in commercial strategy consulting. We will be hosting placements in Spring/Summer 2024 onwards. Please note, you must be graduating in 2025 to be eligible to apply for this role.
How you will create impact
- Internships usually last 8 weeks and are designed to expose individuals to working on client projects and growth strategy. Responsibility is given from the outset, and every intern is a valued member of a project team. Throughout your time at Simon-Kucher, you will contribute to analysis and benefit from working alongside our experienced Consultants, Managers, Directors and Partners. At Simon-Kucher, we work across various industries and summer internship placements will be within the generalist team.
- We have adopted hybrid working, but we encourage interns to make the most of face to face time with teams to maximise learning, and use remote working as an option only when it is the best option to progress their work.
- Simon-Kucher is growing. This results in an entrepreneurial and inspiring work environment with lots of responsibilities and a steep learning curve. Internships are the main route we use to recruit entry level Consultants to our London office, so if you perform well during your time as an intern, there is the real opportunity to continue your career with us.
- Start dates for consultant roles could be from late 2025 onwards, on completion of your studies.
Your profile
This opportunity is aimed at penultimate year students. To apply you will have:
- Strong academic background, including degree level study – we expect you to be tracking a 2:1 or higher
- Excellent communication skills
- High percentile numerical, deductive and inductive reasoning skills
- A strong desire to work in a fast paced commercially agile environment
- Strong interest in commercial strategy
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and a belief that you can achieve the best results
- We offer internships to candidates from a variety of undergraduate subject backgrounds – what you bring with you enables you to thrive and helps us to continue to grow. Exposure to consulting within a student society is not required, but you will need to evidence your interest in commercial strategy clearly in your application.
