What you will get to do
- Support the development and enhancement of quantitative applications within the Fund Services business
- Develop software solutions using Python and quantitative development techniques
- Assist in building tools and models related to trading, market making, and financial products
- Collaborate with global development teams within a distributed working environment
- Contribute to the design, testing, and optimisation of software applications
- Work with modern development tools and environments including Docker, Linux, and GitHub
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you will bring
- Currently studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of trading, market making, and financial products
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and quantitative techniques
- Experience using Python for systems or software development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a distributed global team
- Drive, curiosity, and passion to learn new technologies and skills
Desirable skills
- Experience using Docker
- Experience using C/C++
- Experience using SWIG or PyBindings-11
- Experience using GitHub version control
- Experience working within Linux environments
