We’re offering an exciting 18-month opportunity as a Raw Materials Scheduler, ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a global commercial environment. Whether you’re a recent graduate or already gaining experience in a similar role, this position offers fantastic development and exposure.
About the role
As a Raw Materials Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our production teams have everything they need, exactly when they need it. You’ll work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams—developing skills that are critical to any successful supply chain career.
What you’ll be doing
Material planning & scheduling
- Plan and schedule raw materials and packaging to support production demand
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to maintain continuity of supply
- Balance inbound deliveries across the week to keep operations running smoothly
Purchasing & supplier coordination
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with procurement strategy
- Expedite deliveries and resolve supply issues proactively
- Track supplier performance, including On-Time-In-Full (OTIF)
International logistics
- Coordinate imports into the UK, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance
- Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to manage inbound shipments
Planning, reporting & forecasting
- Maintain daily tracking tools and requirement checks
- Contribute to monthly planning cycles and forward forecasts
- Highlight risks, shortages, and changes to key stakeholders
Problem solving & collaboration
- Troubleshoot supply disruptions and delivery delays
- Work cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, Production, and R&D
- Support supplier issue resolution and continuous improvement activities

Who we’re looking for
We’re open to a range of experience levels, including graduates and those with some prior experience:
- Degree educated or relevant experience in a similar or administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel skills beneficial)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- SAP experience is advantageous but not essential

Additional responsibilities
