Job summary
The International Markets Assistant is responsible for supporting UMGB’s international markets team in their efforts to secure and execute brand partnerships across 40+ markets. This position is responsible for conducting extensive research, building presentations, and gathering and delivering artist and brand-specific assets that support day-to-day lead generation and business development activities.
Job functions
- Research potential partners and appropriate contacts as part of UMGB’s lead generation efforts
- Work closely with international markets to gather details of existing deals and relationships, and package existing work to generate new leads
- Build new business presentations that highlight artists and creative ideas for active pitches and potential partnerships
- Gather all new business assets needed for a new partnership pitch
- Manage market relations team’s outreach and lead trackers, ensuring close alignment with other departments
- Provide assistance to UMGB team for tasks related to new business-led events, social media and conference activity
Requirements
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional demeanor in dealing with clients and coworkers
- Ability to craft executive-level presentations
- Ability to be very detail-oriented
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Marketing experience in digital or mobile entertainment strongly preferred
- Ability to operate in a highly collaborative manner and work in pressure situations
- Ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel
- College degree preferable
