Puffin Packaging are specialists in innovative, eco-friendly packaging. The company sources recyclable and biodegradable materials to manufacture versatile temperature insulated packaging.
The role
Your role as Thermal Product Design Engineer (KTP Associate) will be to design and develop new packaging solutions that can maintain specific temperature ranges, over a desired time.
As you will be liaising with company R&D staff, management and customers you will also need excellent people and communication skills and the drive and initiative to deliver and embed new knowledge within the company.
This KTP is a 24-month project between the University of Huddersfield (School of Applied Sciences) and Puffin Packaging. The package includes a technical and personal training allowance plus the opportunity to register for a CMI Diploma in Management. KTP Associates are also encouraged to attain membership of a professional organisation.
About you
You will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills and knowledge with a Masters level degree in a science or engineering related discipline.
