About the organisation

Do you love to take the complex and make it simple?  Are you curious about the world around you?  Would you like to be solving problems faced by people and organisations today?  Do you want to make amazing things happen?

Jess has founded two organisations that share this core ethos.

Venbridge is the public sector innovation agency.  From Another is making work, work for families and employers.  Take a look at our websites to learn more about what we do www.venbridge.co.uk www.fromanother.co.uk

We are entering the next phase of our start up journey and the coming twelve months will be pivotal as we scale and realise the full potential of these amazing businesses.

We are excited about what we can learn from you and what you can learn with us.

Remote, flexible working is our superpower.  The team works across the UK and Europe.  We kick the day off with the warm up session, the team meets twice a week and you will have a 1:1 each week.  The full team gets together in person every 6 months.  Read more about what it’s like to work with us (link to be inserted).

We will become more diverse as the team grows.  We know people’s lives can be complex.  We welcome applications from anyone who is motivated and dedicated.  We do all we can to support anyone to deliver brilliant work as part of our team.

About the role

Do you want to deliver and shape an ongoing research programme?

Working with the Founder, relevant academic partners, market leads and the campaign team you will undertake research to inform our thought leadership development, knowledge base, and help to shape primary research programmes to deliver our growth objectives.

You will lead on developing our knowledge management approach, ensuring we efficiently collate and review relevant sources.

Your research will cover a wide range of sources including academic journals, industry journals, market research, news sources, government sources and primary sources generated through our own work.

The topics you are researching will be varied including adoption of innovation, place based and mission led innovation, parenthood, hybrid working practices.

Some of the questions we are currently answering include:

  • Who are the top ten health based mission led funders in the UK?
  • What is the impact of a lack of sleep on working parents?
  • How can organisations utilise coaching to lead and manage teams?

You will be comfortable undertaking multi-disciplinary research, working with the wider team to identify credible sources that can guide a nuanced understanding of an issue and the potential opportunities within it.  You will present your findings and analysis succinctly, in a consistent format with recommendations for next steps.
