It’s no secret that Investment Banking is a fiercely competitive sector and gaining experience is incredibly important. This three-day virtual internship experience will give you the tools to discover what the sector is like, meet the industry’s leading employers and fast track your career.

What does the Investment Banking internship experience involve?

Running over three days from 29th June to 1st July, you’ll experience a first glimpse into the investment banking world. We’ve partnered with the leading Investment Banking firms, Goldman Sachs, HSBCJ.P Morgan and Macquarie to run sector specific skills sessions to boost your employability and deepen your understanding of Investment Banking. Here’s what to expect:

Day one (9:00am – 5:30pm):

Take part in a welcome talk, networking, core skills session and sector specialist sessions with leading Investment Banking firms.

Day two (9:00am – 4:30pm):

Receive your project work to be completed by the end of the internship. You’ll have sessions to give you everything you need to complete it and the chance to network with firms and graduates in the sector.

Day three (9:00am – 2:00pm):

Submit your work sample, review another participant's work sample and take part in workshops to set you up for future career success in Investment Banking.

How does it benefit my future career?

This internship experience will give you the tools to be able to understand banking lingo, differentiate between different Investment Banking activities and know how to build a useful network.

You’ll also receive feedback on your performance on the sample work, as well as some top tips to help you improve and excel as you go forward in your career. At the end of the internship experience, you’ll also receive a certificate on completion which you can add to your CV and LinkedIn.

Am I eligible and how do I apply?

The Investment Banking internship experience is open to every student and recent graduate (18+). All you require is Bright Network membership which is completely free and you can complete when you start your application.
