About Schroders

As a global investment manager, we help institutions, intermediaries and individuals across the planet meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future. We have over 6000 talented employees in 30 locations and over 200 years of helping clients plan for the future. But despite our size, our history, our scale, you’ll never get lost in the crowd.

We recruit a select group of one intake of graduates and interns (and a small number of placement year students) each year, across a number of business areas including Investment (including Real Estate and Investment Insight Unit) Client Group, Product, Finance, Tax, Audit and Wealth Management. We also have overseas programmes.

Whether you join us as a graduate, intern or placement year student, you’ll find training that’s tailored to your needs, experience that puts your development first, and support to continually progress towards your goals.

You’ll need a particular kind of motivation to succeed here. You know your own mind, whilst being self-aware about how you could improve. You’re intelligent and insightful, willing to learn and open to new opportunities.

For the majority of our intern, graduate and placement year programmes we look forward to receiving your application regardless of the degree subject you’ve chosen to study. For our Investment Insight unit (Investment Data team) we ask for experience in a programming language(s) and preferably studying a STEM degree.

For our Real Estate Intern and Graduate programmes we would be interested in hearing from students with an undergraduate or post graduate in the below subjects:

  • Built Environment, Real Estate, Architecture, Quantity Surveying
  • Geography, Urban Planning and Land Economy
  • You will be in your final year of study or have recently graduated  Or have at least been able to demonstrate some interest in Real Estate.

There are no criteria set on the predicted or achieved grade that you achieve at University.

With our dedication and resources, you’ll be supported to grow. Even within a global business, you’ll still be seen for your talent – a chance to put yourself in focus.
