Speakers
James Uffindell, Founder of Bright Network
After successfully growing and selling his first business (Oxbridge Applications) to a private investor, James set up Bright Network with the aim of connecting the brightest graduate talent with the UK’s best employers and advice. Five years on Bright Network has 150,000+ members and 300+ partner organisations. Discover his top tips learnt over almost 20 years of running successful businesses. James now invests in high-growth start-ups and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs.
Daniela Seitz, CEO & Founder of Twigdoo
Daniela Seitz joined Hubbub.co.uk in 2014 and developed her career in customer service and operations. She became Managing Director of Hubbub.co.uk in 2016 to take on a restructuring of the company.
In 2017, Daniela co-founded Twigdoo with CTO Matthew Wilson (formerly CTO of Tide.co) after they both spotted the huge inefficiencies and opportunity in sales lead handling and management.
Twigdoo’s aim is to deliver excellent lead management to SMEs helping them to optimise conversion rates and streamline their sales process. With backing from founders and investors of LoveFilm, SecretEscapes, Zoopla, Graze and many more, Twigdoo is on a fast growth trajectory after having launched in May 2018.
River Tamoor Baig, CEO of Hack Partners Limited
River is a technology entrepreneur, he started his career at the National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs (NACUE) advising educational institutions across the UK on how to build entrepreneurial hubs. After leaving NACUE he worked with Lee Strafford, the founder of Plusnet, to setup Dotforge, a startup accelerator based in the north of England.
During River’s time at Dotforge he recruited, invested, and accelerated 30 startups over an 18-month period. He was also part of the team that secured £15m of funding from the Cabinet Office for TechNorth and the Northern TechHubs.
After spending countless hours travelling via rail across the north of England he ran the first HackTrain hackathon which he later spun out into a new company, Hack Partners.
