What made you decide to apply?
"I applied for the trainee programme because I loved the idea of working in the consumer
goods industry, on a brand recognised around the world and found in cupboards and
fridges across the UK. The market also reflects what’s happening in the real world, so
there’s always a new challenge and staying relevant to customers really matters. I wasn’t
sure what type of role I wanted, so a programme that let me explore different functions,
within a business that encourages movement beyond the programme too, really appealed
to me."
What advice would you give your university self before applying for graduate roles?
"I’d tell myself to get out there, explore different kinds of roles through career fairs and sites like Bright Network, and speak to real people. I made too many assumptions about the roles and types of work different companies could offer. I’m still surprised by the variety of roles available within Kraft Heinz."
Why would you recommend the Trainee Programme to future graduates?
"I’d recommend the trainee programme because it’s a great way to learn about different
areas of Kraft Heinz while still having real ownership and making a meaningful difference.
You join as a group, so you have your own mini support network within the wider business,
which makes everything feel a lot less scary."
