At XPO, we're not looking for graduates who have all the answers. We're looking for people with the potential to become future leaders and constantly develop themselves.
Over our two-year Graduate Programme, you'll gain experience across different areas of the business, you’ll develop industry-recognised qualifications, and build the skills needed for a long-term career in logistics.
So, what helps graduates succeed at XPO?
Take ownership
The most successful graduates are proactive. They ask questions, seek out opportunities, and take responsibility for their own development rather than waiting to be told what to do, as a business we consider ourselves to be entrepreneurial and we expect our management to have a self-starter approach.
Be adaptable
No two placements are the same and they can be located anywhere in the UK. Our graduates gain experience across different parts of the business, so flexibility, resilience and a willingness to embrace new challenges are key.
Demonstrate leadership potential
Leadership isn't about having a management title. We're interested in graduates who show initiative, influence others and take ownership of challenges. This could be through sport, work, volunteering, student societies or other extracurricular activities, we are looking for examples of where you may have led a team or group in certain activities.
Stay curious
A willingness to learn goes a long way at XPO. We value graduates who ask questions, seek out new experiences and are keen to understand how different parts of the business work together. Curiosity not only helps you develop faster but also enables you to make a meaningful impact from the start.
Think long-term
This programme is designed to develop future managers and leaders within XPO. Throughout the two years, you'll gain exposure to different parts of the business, build meaningful relationships and develop both personally and professionally. We're looking for ambitious individuals who want to make an impact, continuously develop their skills and build a long-term career within the exciting world of supply chain and logistics.
Final thought
Some of the strongest applications come from candidates who may not have the most experience but can demonstrate curiosity, ambition, resilience and a genuine desire to learn. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
