Ever wondered what a career in intelligence is really like?

We've partnered with the UK's Security Agencies (MI5, MI6 & GCHQ) to bring penultimate year members an exclusive event on the 9th July 2026 in central London.

To help you understand what a future in intelligence could look like, you’ll hear from representatives from the MI5, MI6 & GCHQ teams. Throughout the day, they’ll take you through their range of student and graduate level opportunities, the different career paths across the agencies and the importance of diversity to their mission. Plus, gain valuable insights, hear from current employees and receive valuable advice to support your career journey!

What you can expect

Representatives from the Security Agencies will host you throughout the day, where you’ll take part in interactive sessions and challenges, specifically designed to help you learn more about the organisations. There will also be lots of opportunities to hear from the representatives through panel sessions, Q&As, networking and more.

The day will begin at 11:00 (GMT) and end at 16:00 (GMT). Over the course of the day, there will be a number of informative and engaging sessions, where you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Connect and network with teams from MI5, MI6 & GCHQ
  • Explore a wide range of early career opportunities within the agencies
  • Participate in Team Challenges
  • Hear inspiring career stories from professionals working in intelligence, sharing their experiences and journeys
  • Engage directly with agency experts, asking questions and discovering what it’s truly like to build a career in this field
