What You’ll do
As an AWM Technology Graduate Analyst, you'll be part of project teams supporting clients across the asset, wealth and retail industry. No two projects are the same, but your work could include:
- Building and testing technological solutions; from data integration to platform improvements, working alongside our technical architects and developers
- Contributing to technical design and implementation on projects ranging from a few weeks to multi-year transformations
- Producing technical documentation, code reviews, and working on solutions that directly support client delivery
- Taking on project coordination tasks depending on the project, such as managing sprints, tracking technical risks, and helping oversee delivery timelines
- Helping build technical proposals and materials that win Alpha new work, and sharing ideas for how our services and capabilities evolve
- Getting involved in firm-wide initiatives such as recruitment, wellbeing or diversity and inclusion, giving you the chance to build experience beyond client delivery
From the start, you'll gain hands-on experience working on real client problems and learn how technology projects are delivered in practice. As your confidence grows, so will your level of responsibility, from supporting core delivery to leading technical work streams.
What You Will Learn
All new Analysts take part in our two-week Alpha Analyst Training Programme, designed to give you a strong foundation in:
- Core consulting skills
- Financial and cost modelling
- Stakeholder management
- Producing high-quality client deliverables
- Communication and soft skills
We’ll also fund and support you to complete professional qualifications. Alongside formal training, you’ll learn every day by working with experienced colleagues and receiving ongoing support and feedback.
Who We’re looking for
We're looking for highly motivated individuals who are excited by problem-solving, consulting, and the opportunity to make an impact from day one. Successful candidates will:
- Be predicted or have achieved, a 2:1 or above, in any degree discipline and from any university
- Be available to start full time in September 2027
- Have a passion for technology, with some knowledge of coding in any language, ideally Python
- Enjoy solving problems and thinking analytically
- Will be proactive, curious and eager to learn
- Communicate clearly and work well with others
- Be excited by working in a collaborative, high-performing and sociable environment
