    Our next Graduate Program will begin in September 2021 and will run for two years, during which our graduates will receive professional training and development opportunities, be fully sponsored through their professional qualifications, provided with an enviable support network, and receive an attractive starting salary and benefits.

    Aspen is an innovator in the management of complex risks on behalf of our clients and as an Underwriting Graduate you will have the opportunity to gain experience in some of the most specialist lines of business in Insurance. While on the graduate scheme you will carry out rotations which will give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of different lines of business, build key relationships and build your knowledge around the type of risks we write.

    In the role you will quickly gain exposure to Brokers and Clients so excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build enduring relationships are vital. You will be focussed and, with experience, will be able to accept or decline risks on behalf of Aspen.  In the UK you will study for the Advanced Diploma in Insurance Professional Qualification bearing the “ACII” designation and in the US you will work towards the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or related designation.

    We are looking for graduates who are highly numerate and are on track to achieve a 2:1 (UK) or a GPA of 3.0 or above (US).  You will be studying towards or have completed a Science, Technology, Engineering or a Mathematically related degree at Bachelors level or higher.  In the UK you will have good GCSE and A/AS Level grades, ideally having studied a numerical subject such mathematics to A or AS Level and achieved a B grade or above.
