The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate/university leaver looking for a fully-paid summer internship from mid-May – September 2022. This is a prime opportunity to get some fantastic exposure to a fast-paced events team!

    Specifically, you will:

    • Support our Events Managers with end-to-end management of our wide portfolio of annual, hybrid and virtual events (including the virtual Bright Network Internship Experience UK in July and our flagship events during our busy September & October season)
    • Assist with projects that include overseeing the event application process, organising event logistics, managing events on the day and marketing of events
    • Represent Bright Network at virtual and in-person events – interacting with both clients and students
    • Manage the events inbox by responding to enquiries from students and firms with questions about upcoming events
    • Organise and give creative input on the creation of promotional materials and event programmes
    • Conduct research for future events and having the opportunity to contribute to longer term strategy in the wider company

    Does this sound like you?

    • You're a recent university leaver/graduate who is available to undertake a full-time, paid internship this summer from mid-May to September
    • You can demonstrate a passion for event management through your extra curricular involvement or prior relevant work experience (for example in a university or educational setting)
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills – especially charismatic when interacting with high-profile clients and Bright Network members
    • You pride yourself on being a diligent and reliable team player with strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail!
    • You’re keen to learn from a collaborative team, but also able to use your initiative and work independently within a fast-paced work environment
    • You share Bright Network’s core values of growth mindset, will to win and trusted deliver

    We can offer you :

    • Exposure to working in a high-growth and rapidly scaling business (we recently secured £3.5 million in funding)
    • A flat & transparent structure with a values-driven & collaborative culture (which you can hear more about here!)
    • Flexible and remote-working – access to our open plan Liverpool Street office with snacks, beer tap, team drinks on Fridays & regular socials

    Key details:

    • Salary : £22,000 per annum
    • Dates : mid/late May – 30th September 2022
    • Location : London, Liverpool Street (with some opportunities to work remotely)
    • Reporting to : Events Manager

    Application & interview process :

    • Initial 20-minute screening call with our People team
    • 1st round : 45-minute interview & task with a member of our Events Team
    • 2nd round : 60 minute Culture & Values panel interview

We’ll be reviewing candidates on a first-come, first-served basis, and look forward to reading your application!
