About this role
This is a unique opportunity to work in our Digital Strategic Operations team.
As a Project Manager specialist Graduate, you’ll play a key role in managing our strategic projects that aim to drive our Digital business operations to the next level, to accelerate business growth and transformation.
You’ll work with a team, to deliver value-added solutions that meet the needs of our business’s commercial needs, ensuring projects are deliver on time, within budget and to the agreed quality criteria, from conception through to launch and transition into operations.
You’ll help support the development, documentation and implementation of projects, and change initiatives in line with BT Group policies, maintaining realistic project plans and tracking delivery performance,
Proactively identifies and manages risk through regular assessment and diligent execution of controls and mitigations, proactively raising any concerns and when required escalating, ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders.
We’ll give you on job training and support you need to succeed and access to our internal learning platforms and the exposure you need to become a commercially savvy professional with excellent project management skill.
This graduate programme is available in the Digital part of our business.
Entry requirements
A 2:2 STEM subject or Business degree is required for this role. Other requirements include strong skills in research, analysis, problem solving and an understanding of the key challenges facing companies in their Digital transformation. Awareness of risk and compliance best practise, including corporate governance (both from investments and risks perspective), as well as an understanding of Agile methodologies, is also advantageous.
Starting salary
£33,500
This is a 24-month Graduate position, followed by a permanent position in this Business Unit at the end of the programme.
