Assess companies big and small. Build client knowledge. Excel beyond spreadsheets.

Be part of EY’s Tax teams for the summer, with paid work experience and a taste for the world of work. You’ll get a feel for the business world with on-the-job experience and opportunities to meet influential experts. You’ll also develop great business skills that will shape the rest of your career, while helping local and international businesses find better ways of doing tax.

What is Tax at EY?

We help local and global entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and organisations manage every element of their business’s tax. And as a function, Tax has changed more than ever in the past five years. Not only is Tax broader in its operations, but it’s also more digital. From bots that do our number crunching to AI that inspires our innovations, Tax is no longer bound to Excel, it’s boundless. Tax is now one of our most central business areas and we work across our entire organisation to shape strategies of the future.

What will you be doing?

Whether you join us in Tax, in the EMEIA Tax centre or in People Advisory Services - Mobility and Reward, you’ll start developing your understanding of tax laws before getting to work on real client projects. Before long, you’ll be doing similar work to our graduates, which could include:

  • Researching and contributing information to written reports
  • Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of organisations large and small – many of which are extraordinary enough to be labelled as FTSE 100 businesses
  • Meeting with clients, mentors and coaches
  • Researching tax laws and new client profiles
  • Meeting with clients, mentors and coaches
  • Helping with gathering information and report writing

If everything works out well, you could even secure a job here after you graduate.
