Your development will include a multitude of technical insurance and reinsurance models as well as a wider curriculum of professional, financial and client-facing skills training

    Your role

    • As a Graduate Actuarial you will be immersed in all aspects of front-line actuarial work for our insurance clients from early in your career
    • Working closely with insurers and brokers to help mitigate risk, understanding liabilities and offering solutions.
    • Developing close relationships with stakeholders you’ll need to analyse information and present solutions
    • Assisting in building reinsurance pricing models and actuarial benchmarks
    • Data collection and manipulation in spreadsheets and other database applications
    • Developing expertise in using proprietary Financial Modelling and Reinsurance Optimisation software

    Your skills, experience and qualifications

    • Minimum 2:1 degree with a numerical element
    • Strong communication skills and the competitive drive to achieve
    • Determined, keen to make a difference and forge a career whilst improving the service of key clients
    • Strong planning and analytical skills are crucial when engaging with insurers and customers alike
    • Accurate with high attention to detail, thriving on outstanding customer centricity
    • Proficient in MS office
    • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
    • Eligible to work in the UK
