Your role
- As a Graduate Actuarial you will be immersed in all aspects of front-line actuarial work for our insurance clients from early in your career
- Working closely with insurers and brokers to help mitigate risk, understanding liabilities and offering solutions.
- Developing close relationships with stakeholders you’ll need to analyse information and present solutions
- Assisting in building reinsurance pricing models and actuarial benchmarks
- Data collection and manipulation in spreadsheets and other database applications
- Developing expertise in using proprietary Financial Modelling and Reinsurance Optimisation software
Your skills, experience and qualifications
- Minimum 2:1 degree with a numerical element
- Strong communication skills and the competitive drive to achieve
- Determined, keen to make a difference and forge a career whilst improving the service of key clients
- Strong planning and analytical skills are crucial when engaging with insurers and customers alike
- Accurate with high attention to detail, thriving on outstanding customer centricity
- Proficient in MS office
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Eligible to work in the UK
