Our Insights Programme is a great opportunity to see what a career in finance might hold for you. You’ll split your time across two of our business areas getting a real-life insight into life as a Relationship Manager or a Business Analyst. You’ll work in:

  • Our retail bank which helps customers take care of their day-to-day finances. We build and provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and mortgages, as well as savings and insurance.
  • Our commercial bank which works with businesses to achieve their goals. We build, grow, and protect deep, trusted relationships as we partner with our clients to provide the financial solutions they need and connect them with experts across the bank.

These are exciting, customer-centric businesses which are focused on people and constantly evolving.

  • Eager to learn: You’re curious about how things work and are excited by new tools, methods and perspectives.
  • Self-aware: You understand how your actions and attitude affect others and want to grow both personally and professionally.

What you’ll do

Over four days, you’ll explore two potential career routes with us, as you put your skills to work in real-life situations. You’ll make connections, develop your confidence and begin to build your professional experience, positioning you well for a thriving career when you graduate.

Here’s an overview of what you can expect to get involved with

  • Hear from those who’ve done it: Meet the people doing these jobs day-to-day – from graduates to senior leaders – and learn how they started and the skills they developed and use every day.

Do well and enjoy your time with us and you could secure a place on one of our internship programmes in Business Analysis or Relationship Management.

Additional information

Our insight programme offers candidates the opportunity to fast-track into our summer internship programme and in turn, our full-time graduate programme.  Due to recent Home Office changes to visa eligibility, we do not anticipate that we will be able to offer sponsorship for full time, permanent positions for roles within this area of the business. As we have limited number of places we have on our insight programme, we are only able to consider those candidates who will not require onward sponsorship after graduation.

If you have circumstances that prevent you from affording travel to this event, please contact the team who will be able to review your case. This could be you are a young carer, are from a low-socio-economic background, or have experienced a recent unexpected financial challenge.
