Webinar: Improving my commercial awareness

15 Apr 2020, 4 p.m.

We know it's a challenging time at the moment, but we're committed to supporting your career through the uncertainty of COVID-19.
That's why we've set up our BrightLive webinar series to run over the coming weeks, covering everything from virtual assessments and application tips, through to how you can boost your employability skills and broaden your network (virtually). Plus, we give you the weekly updates from graduate employers on hiring and their application processes.

What’s happening this Wednesday?

Join us between 3-4pm on Wednesday 15th April, for a live webinar dedicated to giving you everything you need to know about what commercial awareness is, as well as why now is the perfect time for you to be developing yours. Every year employers tell us this is one of the most essential skills they're looking for in the candidates that they're hiring, and having spoken to our members, we know it's something you're looking to work on. .

Who’s running the event?

After years of writing our very own commercial awareness updates, our Head of Membership, Ben Triggs, will be leading you through why commercial awareness is crucial for when you're applying to roles, as well as the things you can be doing right now to be boosting yours. He'll be touching on the state of the business and the economy through the current COVID-19 situation, as well as giving you the resources to develop your understanding of the business world.

Join us, and a few guests as we take you through the ever changing landscape of commercial awareness so that you can impress employers, and stand out from the crowd.

We know things are changing very quickly, but the BrightLive series is the best place to stay up to date and help build confidence about your future career.

How do I join?

This is an online webinar, so all you need is an internet connection and a laptop/phone to get involved. We can’t wait to see you there - register by clicking the 'apply now' button - you'll then be sent a link to join the webinar straight to your inbox.
