    Preparation is key

    Consider the questions we might ask and think about what you want to say. Have some examples ready.

    Practice

    Whilst it might be a new experience to record yourself on a one-way interview, it will really help to try a few practice goes. Recording yourself on your phone and watching back will help you understand how you come across or there are plenty of online resources to practice.

    Location

    Find somewhere quiet without distractions to record your video interview, this will help you focus on the task and what you want to say.

    Relax

    Aim your body language towards the camera and try to relax into the experience, this will help you answer the questions more naturally.
