Starting job title: IT Project Management Intern
Current job title: TWFM Test Manager for Europe
The first project I joined at P&G was the implementation of our new HR system, which literally involves every employee in every country where we have operations, so I knew at that moment I was here to make an impact.
I joined the project when testing was about to start, and I had the chance to co-lead the defect management efforts for one of the workstreams, which is key to ensure the new system works as expected. I developed strong relationships with regional project managers, testers, and experts from different workstreams. Gaining on-the-job experience in a range of different areas of the business helped me get involved in process definition and enhancement. Now that the system is live, I can proudly say I have been a part of it.
I believe it was key that my manager and extended team trusted my initiatives and encouraged me to take the lead. And irrespective of what team someone is in or what region they are based in, everyone has always been very open to sharing their knowledge and ensuring that I feel welcome within the company. For all these reasons and more, I truly believe P&G is a great place to put your skills to the test and see how much you can accomplish!
