Founded in 2016 by Nigel Toon and Simon Knowles, Graphcore is a semi-conductor scale up. Our teams have created a completely new processor designed for AI compute – the Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU). Over the last four years we’ve scaled rapidly, now employing over 400 people globally with our Headquarters based in Bristol.
