Novartis was created in 1996 through the merger of Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz, two companies with a rich and diverse corporate history. Throughout the years, Novartis and its predecessor companies have discovered and developed many innovative products for patients and consumers worldwide.

In the UK Novartis employs over 1500 people across five sites, including Novartis UK headquarters in Surrey. These sites are responsible for the sales, marketing and manufacturing of products used in the UK and worldwide. Our portfolio focuses on healthcare sectors that are growing rapidly, reward innovation, and enhance the lives of patients.
