Thinking to apply to one of our software engineering programmes? Already in the process? Or just started uni? Coding tasks are a big part of our assessment process. If you want to be prepared for it or just want to refine your coding skills and hear feedback from our software engineers, then join us for our virtual Practical Exercise session.
You’ll be working on a series of tasks over a period of approximately 2 hours. Whether you are interested in web development or mobile development, automated testing or DevOps, we’ll give you the opportunity to fine tune your programming skills in modern web languages, scripting and procedural language or mobile development. This session will be done in pairs or groups, so you’ll be able to collaborate with other coders.
As a bonus, at the end of the session, our Early careers team will go through scenarios like the ones you’d find in our last digital assessment.
Format: Virtual event
What you’ll learn:
- Coding best practices such as how to make your code as testable, structured, efficient and clean as possible
- How to collaborate with other coders
- Practical experience with our last digital assessment
What we provide:
- Online platform that’s used in our real coding tests, no need to instal any software on your PC
- Support from our engineers who will rotate around the groups and provide guidance and feedback
