Amey is working in partnership with Area 12 Highways England since June 2021. Area 12 is made up of 476km dual carriageway, 179km single carriageway and 1,963 structures. We provide routine, cyclic, and winter maintenance across Yorkshire and Humberside. We are also overseeing traffic management during incidents and the operation of the ten maintenance depots in the region.

Please note that this role requires travelling around our Area 12 depots.

You will be responsible for

  • Work with the team to ensure a strong top team ethos,
  • Working closely with Area 12 Transport Manager & follow given instructions,
  • Communication with our senior management team & directors,
  • Support the development of character, skills, attitude and superior individual and team performance,
  • Ensure that you conduct yourself in a business like and professional manner,
  • Ensure that the workshop facilities, equipment, and tools are kept clean, tidy, and maintained, reflecting the company ethos.

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Business Management degree,
  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above,
  • Full driving license,
  • Willing to work towards Manager CPC qualification,
  • You must be available to join the programme in September 2024,
  • Passion for developing your skills both professional and personally,
  • Have the enthusiasm to be part of a high performing team and a drive for success,
  • Please note that BPSS clearance check will be required if you are successful in your application.
