Programme overview

Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme, designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You’ll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed.  As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.

On the Specialist and Scientists GROW programme you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants you’ll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You’ll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.  

Specialism

Construction Safety - The CDM Team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in eliminating and managing risks associated with construction projects from initial feasibility, survey investigation through to design, construction, and safe access & maintenance of completed assets. You will assist in the delivery of project-related tasks, such as carrying out initial site visits, requesting, reviewing & identifying gaps in the survey information, scope gap on appointment of specialist consultants, reviewing the design development at each design stage to ensure design and construction risks are eliminated or reduced to their lowest manageable level.

  • Accepted degrees: Construction design related degree, BSc in Safety, Environmental Science, Sustainability, fire safety or construction management

Qualifications & Experience

  • You will be graduating in 2024 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree 
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player 
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. 
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working) 
  • Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK
  • Comfortable with Site based working, when required for projects
