Graduate Maritime Services Electrical Engineer
- Assisting in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical power and control equipment for MOD maritime vessels.
- Supporting integration and testing of systems on new and existing platforms.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with UK MOD standards and requirements.
- Conducting performance analysis and offer engineering solutions to optimise system efficiency.
Graduate Naval Ships Electrical Engineer
- You’ll make recommendations about electronic product content, optimise hardware and software design concepts, and develop sophisticated design processes and text complex products.
- Activities include assessment of equipment behaviour and fault diagnosis, assessment of new technologies and components, conducting laboratory tests and capturing data, circuit/firmware simulation and modelling, data analysis, and the preparation of technical reports.
- Gaining exposure to the entire project lifecycle, you’ll play a key role in both maintaining our existing systems and supporting development of new technologies.
- Opportunity to support in projects outside of your primary remit. We encourage you to seek a stretch project in which you’ll gain different experiences.
Graduate Submarines Electrical Engineer
As our Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll be part of developing solutions to complex technical questions, supporting in-service upgrades for Submarine platforms.
- Playing a pivotal part in power engineering, electronic product content, optimising hardware, and software design concepts.
- Supporting development of sophisticated design processes and testing complex products.
- Maintaining our existing systems and developing new technologies.
- Assessment of equipment and fault diagnosis (smaller electronics and large power distribution equipment such as motors, batteries, and variable speed drives)
- Conducting laboratory tests, data analysis, and the preparation of technical reports for new technology.

Qualification requirements
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
