Our Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate, and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough. We decided in November 2020 to bring together BMW Financial Services and Alphabet to stay relevant to our customers and continue to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

Business Analyst, Corporate & Specialist Sales

We are looking for a confident and eager to learn individual to join our Corporate & Specialist Sales department, responsible for the Business-to-Business sale of BMW & MINI products, a process that accounts for approximately 40% of our total UK sales volume. This is achieved across a broad customer base spanning Leasing Companies, Corporate Partners, Rental, Diplomatic and Motability. Our work involves providing award winning customer service, consultation on the efficient running of fleet vehicles, and delivering several innovative customer initiatives to ensure we stay ahead of the competition. You will have day-to-day responsibility for managing a number of these elements, operating as a key and valued member of our team.

What will you be doing?

  • As part of our team, you will work closely with the Corporate Sales Management team and our European colleagues in Germany. You will be involved in several critical long-term strategic projects aiming to maintain the BMW Group’s position as the number one Corporate Sales brand.
  • Working on customer initiatives, something that will involve working alongside other teams in the wider organisation responsible for Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, and IT.
  • Supporting the organisation and running of a number of customer engagement events. These are excellent opportunities to showcase our products with the aim of adding to our customer base.
  • Supporting in managing the internal processes required to ensure customer orders are promptly processed and delivered via our dealers and lease company partners.
  • You will gain hands-on management experience, deputising for colleagues when they are on leave or engaged on other projects.

Qualifications and experience

  • Studying towards a bachelor's degree in a Business-related field and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
  • A confident user of Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • An analytical and creative mind.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong relationship building skills, allowing you to build rapport with people in the business and our external partners.
  • An ability to problem solve, using your initiative to do so.
  • An appetite to learn.
  • Strong time management skills, coupled with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
  • A full UK driver's licence and a willingness to travel in the UK are essential.
