Job Description
Join us for your placement year in summer 2023! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.
As part of the internationally recognised Bosch group, Worcester Bosch is at the forefront of the UK’s heating industry, manufacturing the most innovative commercial and domestic boilers and consistently capturing a significant proportion of all domestic and commercial boiler orders.
A placement here will immerse you in a busy high-achieving After Sales (ASA) function; you will be supporting our employees in driving customer engagement and loyalty for our brand. As a core part of our After Sales department you will be advising and supporting our managers on a range of queries to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Our Deployment & Delivery intern is our key contact for Managers, the Contact Centre, our Sales Team and other External Partners. You will be responsible for managing day to day activities to ensure customer commitments are met, helping us to deliver world class customer service.
You will do this by assigning working zones to field resources to meet short term customer demand as well as executing routing and adjusting baseline settings to achieve maximum utilisation of field resources.
There will also be the opportunity for a few weeks of the placement to support our Contact Centre, answering inbound phone calls. This will allow you to develop and enhance your communication skills for the future, focusing and interacting directly with the Bosch Customer base.
Qualifications
Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet this criteria please consider applying for other positions. Our ideal candidate should:
- Be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and is ready to embrace new ways of working through digitalisation.
- Have the ability to adapt quickly to changing working environments.
- Have good organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Have the confidence to challenge and propose new ideas.
- Be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
- Have the capability to work well in a team as well as independently, using own initiative.
- Be hard-working with a good attention to detail and a quality mind-set.
Additional Information
- Expected Start Date: July 2023 (date negotiable)
- Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak
