    Role Description

    As our new Digital Developer, you will be responsible for the development of new customer engagement strategies within the company’s IT architecture. This is achieved through Salesforce Marketing Cloud by creating digital journeys and communication points through our digital platform, FICO Debt Manager for customer treatment paths in Debt Manager and FICO Blaze Advisor, our decision engine, to build and optimise decisions within.

    We are seeking a Digital Developer to manage the implementation and optimisation of customer communications across a mix of channels to attract, welcome, on-board, service and engage our customers throughout the lifecycle, across all touchpoints. You will work closely with the Digital CRM Manager and Strategy Managers as well as stakeholders to gather, refine and develop CRM strategies and understand how best to implement using the tools currently available.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Development of digital journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Provide input into the Treatment Logic Architecture
    • Pre and post implementation testing of personalisation and Cloud page solutions.
    • Monitor performance of strategies, ensuring a data led approach to identifying opportunities for development.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and IT solutions teams, as well as Digital and Strategy & Analytics team members.
    • Working closely with Stakeholders, ensure compliance within FCA, PCI and Data Protection legislation.
    • Keep abreast of pan industry initiatives and monitor competitor activity, highlighting arears for development.

    Who You Are

    Things we need from you:

    • Experience using at least one of the following packages is desirable: HTML, CSS, SQL.
    • AMPscript, and JavaScript knowledge would be preferable.
    • Knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud is desirable.
    • Knowledge of SOAP APIs
    • REST APIs and integration techniques.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel in particular).
    • Experience in creating automations and maintaining automations/data extensions and connector data transfer process in Marketing Cloud.
    • Ability to define strategy, develop requirements and implement practical business solutions.
    • Good communicator: verbal, written, and bringing results and recommendations to life. Strong people skills.
    • Data - Manipulating and analysing large datasets of customer information is desirable, Knowledge of Data Protection legislation.
    • Good technical knowledge to communicate with tech teams and drive technical initiatives.
    • Passionate about the business impact of data and analysis; Driven by continuous improvement; Attention to detail.
