Cross Asset Solutions Sales Assistant part of the UK Equity Solutions Sales and Cross Asset Distribution desk. The individual will take on several varied tasks involved with many aspects of the Equity Solutions and Cross Asset Distribution activity, mostly to do with equity derivatives and structured products.

The individual will be exposed to the entire structuring and manufacturing chain, and is also likely to gain exposure to other front office desks within the bank (other sales desk, trading and structuring)

Key responsibilities

  • Take on sales assistant responsibilities on the UK Equity Solutions Sales and Cross Asset Distribution desk in London
  • Support senior staff on daily tasks including:
    • Indicative pricing of equity derivatives products (OTC, notes, warrants) and fixed Income products (CLN, Callable etc.)
    • Marketing effort toward clients, presentations and products deck;
    • Helping with the desk day-to-day activities (internal follow-up on price requests, monitoring of clients activities etc.)
  • Contribute to the on-going improvement of the desk processes: maintenance and enhancement of existing desk spreadsheet and macro.
  • Help with the processing of trades for the desk including involvement with internal stakeholders (e.g. trading, structuring, legal, middle office, back office)
  • Help to produce report for the desk (hit ratio, internal report etc.)
  • Report to the head of sales desk regularly on specific issues.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings with the structuring & trading teams to exchange ideas and improve processes

Application criteria

Minimum level of study

  • Bachelor Degree/BSc Degree or equivalent
