We are currently seeking a Fluid System Engineering Service Support / Consultant-junior to join our expanding UK team and support our client on the Hinkley Point and Sizewell C nuclear projects.

    What you'll be doing

The Fluid System Engineering Service plays a critical role in supporting the Fluid Systems engineering team, focusing on ensuring the design of Safety Relief Valves meets key industry standards—ISO 4126 and API 520—within the client's scope of the HPC project’s Nuclear Island Fluid Systems. Key tasks include:

    • Perform a visual analysis in the 3D model of the Safety Relief Valves location versus the equipment protected with a particular focus on inlet and outlet pipework routings against the guidelines/requirements of ISO 4126 and API 520.
    • Cross-check against the information captured in the System Overlimit Protection Report
    • For valves identified as non-compliant, perform checks on process parameters such as inlet and outlet pressure drop, static head and potential for liquid accumulation from other sources.

    Profile

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following qualifications and experience:

    • A degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification
    • This is a junior position, open to graduates with up to 3 years of experience

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging across teams
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration
    • Familiarity with EPR system design principles, Instrumentation & Control (I&C) architecture, and Safety Classification standards
    • Hands-on experience working on an operational plant or industrial site

We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and genuine workplace. If you’re enthusiastic about this position but your previous experience doesn’t match every single criterion in the job description, we invite you to apply regardless
