About the role
SAP Emarsys is looking for a digital marketing Intern to join our global digital marketing team in London.
You will join a team of high energy, high performing marketers focused on driving demand for the Emarsys business through digital marketing.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing; incessantly curious and hungry to learn, apply, measure, and optimize with everything they do.
This is the perfect role for someone who wants to develop real-world skills in digital marketing, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration — in a fast-paced, global B2B environment.
Responsibilities
Our team acts as the central digital centre of excellence within the marketing function supporting a globally team delivering demand generating campaigns and programs including paid search, paid media, website/inbound, SEO, social media, webinar & on-demand video, content syndication & direct mail.
You will get the chance to be hands-on in a whole host of areas including paid media, digital content creation, website content management, social media, and reporting/analytics.
- Assist in planning, executing and optimizing paid media campaigns (search & social), including performance tracking and reporting.
- Help manage website content and contribute to SEO improvements
- Schedule and monitor posts across social media channels like LinkedIn
- Support content creation efforts for digital ads and landing pages
- Assist in executing global campaigns
- Compile and analyze campaign data to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are well-coordinated and impactful.
This is a six month placement and potential to be extended – we are looking for a new full time teammate!
Your profile
You are
- Studying for a degree in marketing, communications, media or similar
- Excellent use of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Able to work independently, manage your time successfully and prioritize tasks according to the importance of them.
- Friendly but assertive with effective communication style and a can-do attitude.
- Previous work experience in marketing would be preferred.
Bonus experience
- Hands-on skills with digital content creation or management of social media channels that could be applied into a business context i.e. LinkedIn
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Wistia, Trint
- Basic knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
- Understanding of digital KPIs like engagement rate, watch time, or bounce rate.
- Demonstrated experience of applying love for marketing outside of work such in a previous job, volunteer position, side hustle or similar favoured
