The Online Trading Coordinator for Retailer.com, and Pure Play Sites is responsible for managing and driving online sales across multiple platforms. This role supports the execution of key trading initiatives, including new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing site management, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. By collaborating with internal teams and retailer contacts, the Online Trading Coordinator ensures all trade activities are executed on time, maximising sales performance and brand exposure.
What this role does
Sales and reporting
- Execute the sales strategy across Retailer.com, and Pure Play Sites.
- Regularly produce reports and analysis on brand performance across the sites, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to post-campaign analysis for major launches and trading periods, identifying key insights for future strategies.
Customer experience and campaign execution
- Collaborate with the retailer and Pure Players to define and implement site updates in line with the marketing calendar, seasonal focuses, and sales targets.
- Support the retailers in the execution of site enhancements and content development, collaborating with the Global E-Commerce team to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Proactively seek and implement improvements in the customer journey across all platforms alongside the retailers.
- Work closely with retailers and Pure Players to ensure new product launches, campaigns, and site updates are executed seamlessly.
- Perform regular site walks and monitor competitor brands on retailer and Pure Player websites for any opportunities for improvement.
Retailer coordination and stock management
- Build and maintain relationships with key retailer contacts, ensuring the brand is well-represented and integrated across platforms.
- Execute the online GWP programme in partnership with retailers, ensuring alignment with sales and promotional goals.
- Manage stock allocation for new product launches and ensure timely deliveries to meet retailer and Pure Play site needs.
- Work with the National Accounts Manager and marketing teams to coordinate the creation of content and assets for retailer sites.
- Ensure effective collaboration with retailers to resolve any stock or content-related issues promptly.
- Oversee the execution of sampling plans for retailer.com sites, ensuring accurate forecasting and activation throughout the year.
Projects/work you will be part of
- New Product Launches: Lead the execution of new product launches across all platforms, ensuring the proper setup, promotional strategies, and site content.
- Seasonal Campaigns: Coordinate seasonal activities (e.g., Christmas promotions) across Retailer.com, and Pure Play sites to drive traffic and sales.
- Retailer & Pure Play Partnerships: Contribute to building and nurturing strong partnerships with retailers and Pure Play sites, exploring new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Affiliate & Digital Marketing: Support the affiliate and digital marketing strategies to drive brand exposure and maximise ROI on retailer and third-party websites.
- Site Optimisation & User Experience: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving site functionality, enhancing user experience, and optimising customer journeys across platforms.
- Competitor & Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitor activity, providing insights to help drive the development of new campaigns and promotional strategies.
What you will need
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyse and act on sales data and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing external partner relationships.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets and optimising the customer experience.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in e-commerce, online sales, or digital marketing, ideally within a retail environment.
- Experience with managing online campaigns, stock allocations, and site operations for major retailers and Pure Play platforms.
- A background in marketing, business, or a related field is desirable.
