What will you be doing?
- Supporting the onboarding process by assisting with HSEQ inductions and related administrative tasks for new starters.
- Promoting environmental awareness by sharing updates on key initiatives, awareness days, and practical tips to enhance our environmental culture.
- Carrying out environmental and health & safety inspections at both fixed sites and operational locations.
- Assisting with incident investigations, including evidence gathering, taking witness statements, and compiling reports.
- Creating and distributing engaging Environmental and Health & Safety newsletters, alerts, and bulletins.
- Supporting the monitoring and reporting of key environmental performance metrics.
- Contributing to the delivery of the Carbon Reduction Plan through practical support and coordination.
- Sharing HSEQ communications across the business and maintaining a clear, up-to-date register.
- Analysing environmental compliance data and producing weekly KPI reports to track performance.
- Building strong working relationships with departments across Fibrus to help embed sustainability into day-to-day operations.
- Helping ensure compliance with environmental legislation and wider societal expectations, supporting our long-term sustainability goals.
What will you bring?
- A strong foundation in environmental awareness, with knowledge of sustainability principles and environmental compliance.
- Excellent people skills with openness, honesty and integrity.
- Ability to work in a busy and high demanding team.
- Highly organised, able to manage a varied workload with competing demands.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- You are a flexible and adaptable person, able to work with other teams.
- Keen eye for detail, the ability to maintain accuracy whilst working to deadlines and be extremely organised.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
