    We’re recruiting for an SEiT to join our Data tribe. We provide the business with innovative and world class data services! We’re well on our way to executing the data strategy with a current migration to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) as part of our transformation goals. We strive to make data part of every decision in the business.

    Your role in ‘Better’

    • Build and run test automation packs against a wide range of data products.
    • You’ll ensure the reliability and upkeep of our test and staging environments, and champion their use throughout the SDLC.
    • Work on projects and contribute to our progressive move towards an automation-centric test approach.
    • You’ll balance the need to provide test automation on new products being developed by your team against that of retrofitting test automation into an existing catalogue of products.
    • On an adhoc basis there may be a requirement to assist in manual exploratory testing of in-flight work.
    • You’ll contribute to a culture in which the team can surface and discuss their ideas openly and considerately.

    How You’ll Create ‘Better’

    • Previous automation testing experience.
    • The squad predominantly code in Python so any previous experience would be hugely beneficial.
    • Object orientated programming knowledge.
    • A desire to learn and work collaboratively with the SEiT and Engineering community across the different tribes at Sky Betting and Gaming.
    • You will work alongside other SEiT’s and Test Engineers from across the tribe, to produce larger initiatives and drive a higher standard of test capability.
