We are hiring a Merchandise Assistant to join our successful Merchandise department. You will have the opportunity to have an impact on the commercial opportunities across our stores, websites and ultimately growth of the business.

The role is varied and you will be involved in the running of weekly reports, analysis and communicating this back to your colleagues across the business. Merchandising is more than just reporting though, it is the engine room to how our business works. There are trade meetings, store visits, development of product knowledge, adjusting prices and knowing when to, liaising with the wider stakeholder network.

Ultimately you ensure we have the right product, in the right place, at the right price and at the right time.

The team

The Merchandise team is one big family split into departments, you will get to know the wider team through your level but also across the departments. The departments are then split to focus down on certain areas such as Apparel, Footwear and Accessories. You will have the chance to work across branded suppliers and own brand supply chain. Within each department you will have the opportunity to be really hands on and see how your actions influence the sell through of products and ultimately get those sales in the till.

Ideally you will have a relevant degree (Mathematics, Business Studies, Economics, Buying & Merchandising) as well as being numerate, with analytical skills.
