    How you'll make an impact

    As a Junior Bid Writer, you’ll work closely with experienced Bid Writers and Bid Managers, gaining hands-on exposure to the full Bid Lifecycle. This includes strategy development, stakeholder collaboration, content creation, and governance support.

    Though not client-facing, your work will directly support Gallagher’s Producers and Consultants in winning key opportunities—impacting real business outcomes.

    Your development path

    In this role you'll develop skills like:

    • Bid & Proposal Writing – learn to write creatively structured and persuasive content
    • Sales Enablement – support a growing team that powers business success
    • Project Coordination – work with stakeholders across departments
    • Business Research & Analysis – dive deep into client organisations and industry trends
    • Governance & Compliance – ensure quality and professionalism across submissions

    About you

    Required skills & experience:

    • A degree in English, Journalism, Business, Marketing or similar—or relevant work experience
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication
    • High attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Confident IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

    Desirable:

     

    • Any experience in bid writing, proposal creation, or content writing is a plus

    Key responsibilities

    • Write clear, concise, and tailored proposal content
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to draft and refine responses
    • Coordinate inputs from various departments (sales, product, legal, finance)
    • Manage third-party bidding portals and documentation
    • Support innovation in how we respond to opportunities
    • Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency
