Introduction
We are looking to recruit a bright, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our Chelmsford based team as a Trainee Client Advisor. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our insurance processes and will work within our Regional Business Support team as part of Gallagher’s highly successful Public Sector, Education & Housing team.
We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail; good communication skills; and an ability to learn quickly. This role is a gateway to a very rewarding career as a professionally qualified advisor, and you don't even need to have any insurance experience to be considered.
How you'll make an impact
Renewal Processing
- Handle the timely processing of insurance policy renewals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
- Update and maintain renewal records as part of the renewal process.
- Facilitate the production of leaseholder disclosure documentation to meet regulatory requirements for identified policy holders
Debiting on Acturis
- Utilise Acturis to accurately debit premiums and process financial transactions.
- Verify premium calculations, policy endorsements, and other financial details.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Document Production
- Generate and prepare various insurance documents, including policy schedules, certificates, endorsements, and invoices.
- Ensure all documents are accurate, properly formatted, and comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a well-organised filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
Formatting Reports and Collating Information
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Collate and organise information from various sources to support decision-making and reporting processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
About you
- Educated to A-levels standard or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document production.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK
