The Goldman Sachs EMEA Banking Academy provides students in their penultimate or final year of studies the opportunity to learn more about Investment Banking. The aim is to upskill and prepare candidates for a future career in Investment Banking through a 3-day interactive insight event.
The opportunity
As a participant, you will:
- Discover the extensive range of career opportunities across the Investment Banking business and insights into the various functions, roles and responsibilities
- Gain valuable insights into key concepts and trends across the Investment Banking industry
- Develop your technical skills through interactive workshops
- •Gain tangible resume-enhancing skills and tips and receive guidance and advice on how to prepare effectively for recruiting processes
- Work closely with a group of peers to develop your soft skills and begin to build a network
- Network with Goldman Sachs professionals and hear more about their experiences and backgrounds
About you
Prospective applicants should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in an Investment Banking career through initial work experience or internships within the broad Financial Services Industry (Investment Banking, Financing, Consulting, Equity Research, Valuations, Transaction Services, Risk Management, Accounting). Applicants should also be interested in the internship opportunities in Investment Banking across our 2026 London Summer Internship Programme and 2026 European Off-Cycle Internships.
Eligibility
Students graduating from a Bachelors or Master’s degree programme from 2026 to June 2027.
Following your application, you can expect to hear back from us by June. The Academy will take place over 3-days in September.
